The cage.
Today I will speak about cages. Do you know what a cage is used for? It is an area where something is enclosed in; a structure that holds or conceals something or someone and is used to confine or hold someone against one’s will. I want to emphasize that a cage can be used for good or bad intentions.
Let us focus on the good for a moment.
Animals that are a danger to humans are kept in cages for their protection. If an animal is hostile, it is best to keep it caged, as to protect an individual from getting hurt. Also, humans that have obstructed the law and are deemed a threat to others are also caged by being put behind bars. This is an example of a consequence to sin when human beings hurt, kill or steal are then placed in jail and caged.
I say this to you so you will understand the importance of what a cage is used for. Now let us focus on the bad, many of My people are being held against their will because of their Christian beliefs, for in the past My Jewish people were exiled, persecuted, imprisoned and even exterminated for their belief in God. The faithful always suffer for righteousness’s sake, for love of God.
I am telling you this to remind you of the early Christians who were also arrested for My sake, while proclaiming the Gospel. This very day there are many who are persecuted and brutalized worshiping their God, Jesus Christ.
I am the way the truth and the light, all those who follow Me will be a light in this world and receive salvation. This cage that I speak of is also used by religious and political leaders to quell or silence anyone who speaks the truth or comes against their ideologies. I have the key to set you free, and that is Me the Son of the living God.
Fear not for they may kill the flesh but not your spirit (Matthew 10:28). I will keep all My children in My heart, and you will see the face of your God.
How many will speak the truth for love of Me, even if it means persecution and death?
I want you to understand there is persecution of many going on in this generation and more in the future. Be ready to accept the cross of persecution, even if it means being imprisoned and put to death for My sake, just remember I am with you always.
